In a day in age where a lot of tight ends shy away from the blocking and physical side of the game of football the opposite holds true for Austin. At 6’4 210 pounds he plays a violent brand of football. He has the versatility of a player who will be able to line up as an H back and as an inline blocker. While he doesn’t have a lot of film as a pass catcher, he definitely looks to possess the athleticism and burst to be a receiving threat in the passing game. Jaxon was offered by the University of Cincinnati and committed to the Bearcats less than a month later.
