Final 2026 X Film Study

We've officially reached the final installment of the X Film Study series. Over the past several weeks, we've broken down prospects from every corner of Oregon, highlighting players who stood out on film and could make plenty of noise over the next few seasons. This final group is no different, featuring a mix of explosive offensive playmakers, an intriguing young quarterback, and a high-motor defender who consistently flashed on tape. As always, these evaluations are based on what showed up on film and where I think each player can continue to develop moving forward.     Greenan Biggs has the build you like to see in a running back and runs with good balance between power and athleticism. At 6-foot and nearly 200 pounds, he has the frame to handle a heavy workload while still showing enough burst to create explosive plays. He does a nice job finding running lanes and getting north and south without wasting much movement. There is also some value in the passing game, making him a well-rounded offensive weapon. Greenan Biggs has all the tools to put together a big junior season and continue climbing the ranks in the 2027 class.      Fitch is one of those receivers who just moves well on film. He is an explosive athlete who creates separation with his athleticism and does a nice job tracking the football. Once the ball is in his hands, he has the ability to make defenders miss and pick up extra yards after the catch. He also plays with good strength for the position, giving him the versatility to line up in different spots within an offense. Fitch has the skill set to become a very productive receiver and is another player to keep an eye on heading into the season.      Kumm is a young quarterback who flashes enough tools to be an intriguing developmental prospect. He moves well in and out of the pocket and has the athleticism to extend plays when protection breaks down. His arm is more than capable of making the necessary throws, and there are flashes of good touch and timing throughout his film. As he continues to gain experience and develop over the next few seasons, his overall game has plenty of room to grow. Kumm is a 2028 quarterback worth keeping an eye on.      Westgaard is a high-effort defender who plays with the motor you want to see from an edge rusher. He consistently works through the whistle and shows good athleticism coming off the edge while holding up well against the run. His movement skills make him disruptive, and he has the versatility to impact plays in multiple ways. As he continues adding strength and refining his pass-rush toolbox over the next few years, there is plenty of upside still to unlock. Westgaard is another promising 2028 prospect with a bright future.
