Northwest’s new offers, camps standouts: Offensive line

The Northwest has positional peaks and valleys in their current crop of talent.   While some positions are experiencing a small dip (collectively - with a few standouts), others are chalk-full of talented prospects, namely offensive line, defensive line and pass-catchers.   The Northwest's offensive linemen check a lot of boxes.   It's a group with high-end national recruits, intriguing FCS/FBS bubble prospects and a collection of talented small school options.   There's a little something for everyone.   Here's a look at the offensive linemen who have added significant offers, or had a stellar camp showing, in the past few months.    [player_tooltip player_id='1857585' first='Kyler' last='Harden'], O'Dea (2028) — Few linemen on the entire West Coast have been hotter than Harden in the past few months.   Since May 1, he's added offers from Oregon, UCLA, Washington State and others and has become a national recruit, adding to previous scholarships from Auburn, Penn State and more.   Harden will be a must-recruit player for the top programs on the West Coast.    [player_tooltip player_id='1397364' first='Kamari' last='Wilson'], Mt. Tahoma (2029) — Since late April, the 6-foot-4, 265-pound offensive lineman as added double-digit offers and established himself as a national recruit.   Wilson has picked up offers from Arizona, Arizona State, BYU, Oregon, Oregon State, TCU, Utah and others.   There's still a long way to go in his recruitment, but the ceiling is an All-American selection who flirts with five-star status.   He's that special!    [player_tooltip player_id='1397350' first='Xavier' last='Berry'], Federal Way (2029) — The 6-foot-7, 270-pound offensive tackle has been on Prep Redzone's radar since he was an eighth grader.   But now he's a certified bluechip recruit.   Since June 3, Berry has added offers from Arizona State, Cal, Oregon, Oregon State, UCLA, Washington and others.   Seeing him at The Northwest Showcase, his potential is immense and his athleticism and frame and eye-opening.   He could easily add another 30-plus pounds and that will help him continue to add strength.   Berry needs to continue to add good weight, but that's the only knock on him.   He's got a chance to be a top-50 recruit nationally.    [player_tooltip player_id='1907993' first='Tyson' last='Daniels'], Kennedy Catholic (2030) — Alabama, Florida State and Miami have all offered the class of 2030 prospect this spring.   Daniels has been invited to the Freshman All-American Game and has a five-star future if he continues to develop.   There's no doubt he'll be one of the West Coast's most coveted prospect and one of the nation's top offensive linemen nationally.    [player_tooltip player_id='1609771' first='Peter' last='Stanley'], Summit (2028) — Fair or not, there's always added intrigue for a Oregon prospect coming from outside the Portland area.   It gives us a chance to get eyes on a prospect, and in a camp setting assures good-on-good reps.   Stanley dominated The Northwest Showcase and earned a positional MVP.    His stock is on the rise.    Kai Peau, Central Catholic (2028) — Both Peau Bros. deserve a long look, but Peau recently added offers from Oregon State and UNLV, establishing himself as a sure-fire FBS prospect.    Rashaun Lavata'i, Curtis (2027) — What a wild recruitment.   The recent Washington State commit seemed like a Washington lock days before his decision, but eventually became a massive four-star in-state addition for the Cougars.   Lavata'i has an excellent chance to play early in Pullman and could become an anchor of the WSU offensive line for years to come.    [player_tooltip player_id='1599614' first='Ben' last='Rainwater'], Inglemoor (2027) — In mid-May Rainwater started picking up new offers - Arizona, Kansas State, Utah and others.   But in the end his long-standing relationship with Boise State proved to be enough to keep him in the region.   Rainwater has a chance to develop into a multi-year starter in Boise.    [player_tooltip player_id='2161078' first='Cade' last='Wilson'], Banks (2027) — Since mid-April, Wilson has added offers from Portland State and San Jose State, as well as a preferred walk-on spot with Oregon.    It feels like his recruitment could jump up another tier, and it would've been great to see his good-on-good reps in a camp setting, but Prep Redzone is sky-high on the talented offensive linemen.   He should be getting FBS attention.    [player_tooltip player_id='2065191' first='JayLinn' last='Haywood'], Kennedy Catholic (2027) — Haywood earned a positional MVP award at The Northwest Showcase and looked the part of a Division I prospect.   He has a bright future.    Mason Lawrence, Puyallup (2030) — The much-hyped class of 2030 offensive lineman is on the board with an offer from Idaho.   The 6-foot-5, 265-pound lineman is going to be a really good one - and it seems that day is coming sooner rather than later.    [player_tooltip player_id='1971181' first='Colby' last='Kier'], Puyallup (2027) — Not every riser is a Division I guy.   Kier has worked his tail off this offseason and emerged as a “winner” of the offseason.   He's picked up offers from Whitworth, Pacific, Pacific Lutheran and Puget Sound.   There could be more to come, but getting on the board - four times - as a hard-working, talented student-athlete is worthy of significant praise.    [player_tooltip player_id='1359160' first='Dylan' last='Marquez'], Lake Oswego (2027) — Lake Oswego has churned out quality prospects over the years, and Marquez has gone a little under the radar because of LaMarcus Bell and [player_tooltip player_id='1246545' first='Josh' last='Christensen'], a pair of Power 4 Conference prospects.   But Marquez is a quality football player whose highs look like Division I tape.   He recently picked up an offer from San Diego, and it makes me wonder if more could be coming.
