Fitch was everywhere as Sandy opened league play with a 36-12 victory over Hood River Valley. The senior athlete contributed in virtually every phase of the game, rushing for 150 yards and two touchdowns while adding a receiving score through the air. He wasn’t finished there, recording 11.5 tackles on defense to help Sandy control the game on both sides of the ball. Fitch’s versatility made him one of the biggest difference-makers in the victory. His ability to impact the game as a runner, receiver and defender made this one of the most complete performances of the week.

Fitch is one of the most versatile playmakers on the Pioneers’ roster. The returning two-way standout earned First Team All-League honors at linebacker and Second Team All-League recognition at receiver last season. Dill highlighted his speed and playmaking ability as two of his biggest strengths. Fitch has also found the end zone 18 times over the last two seasons, showing his ability to turn opportunities into production. Dill believes Fitch deserves more attention from college coaches, noting that he already has D3 offers and the versatility to do a lot at the next level.

Fitch is one of those receivers who just moves well on film. He is an explosive athlete who creates separation with his athleticism and does a nice job tracking the football. Once the ball is in his hands, he has the ability to make defenders miss and pick up extra yards after the catch. He also plays with good strength for the position, giving him the versatility to line up in different spots within an offense. Fitch has the skill set to become a very productive receiver and is another player to keep an eye on heading into the season.

Fitch led the team with 57 tackles and seven tackles for loss, consistently flying to the football. His range and physicality made him one of the league’s most reliable linebackers.

Another two-way force is Fitch, a junior linebacker and receiver with explosive athleticism. He led the team in receiving last year with 349 yards and seven touchdowns, and also tied for the conference lead in sacks (nine), while racking up 78 total tackles and 10 tackles for loss. He’s a threat in the return game too, taking a punt to the house in 2023. “He’s a big playmaker who’s added 20 pounds this offseason and has improved his speed and strength tremendously,” Dill said. Fitch is poised to break out even further this fall.
