Texas continues to produce talented quarterbacks, and the Class of 2027 is no different. With another season around the corner, several young signal callers are ready to take the next step and make a name for themselves. Here's a look at some of the quarterbacks to know in the 2027 class.

Hess is a dynamic dual threat quarterback with a lot of speed. He can make things happen with his arm and legs. Playing in a triple option offense limits the number of opportunities he gets, but his film shows he's capable of maknig accurate throws at every level of the field. He's comfortable throwing on the move , extend plays when protections break down. As he continue to get more opportunities to showcase his arm, there's plenty to like about his upside as a quarterback. No question how good Hess film is , you get excited while watching. Hess is the guy to take of this season.

Maximus plays the quarterback position with poise. He doesn't rush the game and does a good job letting plays develop before delivering the football. When nothing is there, he has the mobility to move the chains with his legs and keep drives alive. One play on film what stands out , as he takes a big hit while delivering a strike downfield, showing the toughness he has. He does a good job getting the ball to his playmakers and keeping the offense on schedule. Deshawn finsied the season with 2,483 passing yards and 24 passing touchdowns, while adding 1,387 rushing yards and 21 rushing touchdowns.

Kourtney put together a strong season, throwing for 3,000 passing yards and 30 touchdowns, showing he already has the production of a high level player. He has the tools to keep climbing , arm strength ; the ability to move the ball, and the confidence to take shots when they're there. As he steps into this year, the next challenge is putting it all together more consistently and taking that jump from productive to elite. If he builds on last season, he's in position to have a big year and really raise his game.

https://twitter.com/Kjparr12/status/2063050699563315368?s=20

Cannon put together a strong 2025 season and show he can lead an offense. He plays like the field shrinks when he has the ball, slipping through tight spaces and staying hard to square up in the open field. Even behind bigger linemen, he finds windows to escape and turn broken plays into gains. His size might get talked about pregame, but once the action starts, he plays much bigger than listed and keeps defenses guessing every snap.

https://twitter.com/alijahjablon11/status/1989384177859678715?s=20

Brox threw for 1,866 yards and 16 touchdowns on 111 of 183 passing, while also adding 817 rushing yards and 8 touchdowns on the ground. He does a good job keeping plays alive when things break down, using his legs to escape pressure and pick up key yards. He's not afraid to leave the pocket and create when nothing is there, which adds another layer to his game. One thing that really stands out is his deep ball accuracy he's able to drop it in the bucket and give his receivers a chance to make plays downfield. When he gets into rhythm, he can move the offense and put points on the board in different ways.

https://twitter.com/BroxHacker1/status/1998099229064216609?s=20

Booth shows early on film that when things don't go as planned, he still finds a way to make it work. He doesn't panic under pressure and does a good job keeping his eyes downfield while the play breaks down. Instead of forcing mistakes, he creates second chances and turns broken situations into positive gains. That ability to improvise and stay composed when the original plan falls apart is one of the things that stands out in his game. He Recorded 27 TDS 6 INTS.

Jimmy is starting to take real strides heading into the season. He's showing better control of the offense, getting the ball out on time, and keeping drives on schedule without forcing things into coverage. On film, there's clear improvement in how he works through progressions and finds answers when the first option isn't there. When plays break down, he has enough athletic ability to extend things and keep the offense alive. As he continues to develop, his role and impact on the field should grow in a big way this season.

https://twitter.com/jimmyHaren/status/1989452588723347526?s=20

Jordan is a quarterback who plays the game with a steady rhythm and knows how to run an offense without rushing things.
