We talked about who we feel could be Camp Jumpers in our 2027 classes in the Dakotas, but next I wanted to move to what is an intriguing 2028 class in North Dakota. These are athletes we've seen in live evals, are the top couple of QBs in the class, and ones that really impress me that I haven't even seen a camp schedule for yet!

Noah took a step up moving up to our QB3 in the 2028 North Dakota class last rankings update and I feel he can take another step up with camps this summer to rise into our top 20. He's gotten a lot quicker with his relelase and is showing more velocity in tight windows on intermediate and deep routes. His throws show that he can get upfield precision with his receiving core and surely with more offseason work brewing into his junior season with that core, I would expect that to continue to improve. He's got time to fill out in the weight room this summer before the season and surely is going to show off more pure poise in front of college coaches this summer in my eyes.

Camden was one of our top-tier wide receivers from our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase and surely with that live eval alone will get a rankings bump, but I do not think he's done rising his stock this summer with college camps ahead. Most of the reps that Camden gets in his high school offense come from the tight end position but when you see the fluid release and seperation ability, you can see why he's more of an ideal fit as a wide receiver and proved why in Sioux Falls a couple weeks ago. A lot of upside that I like about Camden to grow over the coming years.

North Dakota's 2028 class has a pretty strong 1-2 punch at the quarterback position, as Ray/Powers Lake's [player_tooltip player_id='1452278' first='Jace' last='Becker'] is one that I would expect to appeal to college coaches at camps this summer. One of the most precise deep route gunslingers we have in this class in the Dakotas, I love the growth from his freshmen to his sophomore year from a poise perspective as he seems to be cool, calm and collected with those deeper routes. The ball is also flying faster out of his hands and I am sure he's had even more progression this offseason with his skillsets as there's a reason why we have two quarterbacks in our top 5 overall, as this is one of the better 1-2 punches we've had in North Dakota in the QB group in a while.

Qwentrell is a our #1 ranked EDGE in this 2028 ND class and will be a prospect that college coaches are going to have to quickly watch the motor that comes out of this kid duirng live reps. He also comes with a well-versed first step and will fight teeth and nail to get downhill to the ball carrier which he doesn't take long to show on tape. He also shows off his pass-rushing ability outside of the inside box as he brings great athleticism and that motor I referenced to the other side of the field with his range. Surely has position flexibility as well that college coaches can work with this summer in my eyes.

I got a live eval on Mack at the Sioux Falls Prospect Camp last summer, and there I thought he was one of the best underclassmen defensive backs that was in attendance. That live eval stuck with me to place him as our DB2 in the ND 2028 class and now that he has tape, I feel the ceiling gets higher for Mack this summer. His footwork intrigues me for his age and what intrigues me even more is when he releases down to the ball as the 5'11 183 pounder from West Fargo Sheyenne surely has some of the best range you will see in this 2028 ND class in the defensive back group. As a coach's kid, he has great vision and what I saw last summer in Sioux Falls, was the instincts which doesn't take long to appear on tape for Mack. His junior tape just came out a couple weeks back, and surely he's one that colleges should track this summer out of this 2028 group.

Another 2028 ND prospect that wastes no time to pop out his instincts and should show off what you see on tape this summer, is Bismarck's [player_tooltip player_id='1974997' first='Declan' last='Sims']. I'll admit Declan was a late add to our 2028 board when it came out and should be higher than the ranking you see as the 6'2 200 pounder is a difference maker for the Demons defense. He's really balanced on his proficency on what he brings to the table stopping the run or in pass coverage and is constant hit stick on tape. I haven't even seen him post a camp schedule yet, but I can sure that he's one that you need to have at camps if you are a Dakotas school.
