May Rankings Review: 2028’s to Monitor Ahead of Rankings Update

Now at Milton, he will have more eyes on him. Lewis is a vertical threat, even at his size, who drives off the line and maintains his speed throughout the process of the route. He is capable of working concepts underneath, rounding off his game. He has elite suddenness off the line, quickly finding his top speed and holding it through releases. He tracks the ball well and combines body control and ball skills to execute. He is a long, lean athlete who is very much a ball chaser right now. He can get after it, flashing his range while possessing the long strides to eat grass. He is an athletic second-level defender who has plenty of space to bulk up, which signals high upside. He is a stout, strong LB prospect with a low center of gravity. Not much length, but he is just a ball of power and energy. He comes downhill hard and generates some pop at contact. He ran 10.9 in the 100M this spring, which is a really impressive time at 200 pounds, especially for a more condensed, muscled-up athlete. There is plenty to like with just the eye test alone. He is a tall, long, lean athlete with some fluidity. He is quick off the line and has a hot motor, and if he continues to play with that motor, he should find the field and contribute while his traits continue to develop and round off. He is tall, lean, and can move. He is a basketball athlete and acts as a run-and-chase defender. His speed, burst, and long strides offer him plenty of range and the speed to flag the football down. As he gets stronger and fills out, I am intrigued to see how he turns speed to power as a pass rusher. He has good length for his height and can play both on and off the ball thanks to his range and athleticism. He is an explosive player who gets after it, impressing with his motor and closing speed to the football. He is a long, leggy prospect still growing into himself and developing. His short-area quickness sets the intrigue and flashes good contact balance. He is a high instincts player who drives downhill and plays bigger than listed, both when playing the ball and as a tackler.
