Pierce, perhaps quietly, was a tone-setter on offense for Pebblebrook, and he has plenty of space and time to get even bigger and better. He is a long, leggy prospect still growing into himself and developing. His short-area quickness sets the intrigue and flashes good contact balance. I still think there’s another level to his game that we haven’t seen yet, and that’s what I will be looking for when I revisit in the fall.
