One of the most explosive running backs across the state in the 2028 class, Charles was the leading rusher across the 4A classification last fall for Cass, rushing for over 1,500 yards and 14 touchdowns. The speedy 5-foot-10 180-pounder is shifty, shows quick feet, and enough burst to take off down the field when he gets to the second level. He's one of the more dynamic backs you'll find in the state and will have a giant step in the latest 2028 Prep Redzone rankings. His recruitment is on the rise and he'll possibly see some major Power Four offers come his way down the road.

A sleeper South Georgia running back to know at Colquitt County, Stephenson shined in a reserve role last fall, taking advantage of his opportunities when his number was called. The quick, shifty 5-foot-7 165-pounder runs hard for his size and should have a more expanded role in the Packers offense as a junior next fall. He was added to the rankings after a promising sophomore season where he ran for 476 yards and one touchdown on 99 carries, averaging just under five yards per carry. With Colquitt County looking for a new leading rusher, Stephenson should see the ball come his way often in 2026.

A versatile back with impressive quickness and change of direction, Pierce is one of the more underrated 2028 running backs in Cobb County right now bound for a really strong junior season. The 5-foot-11 165-pounder runs hard for his size and can be tough to tackle due to his slipper running style. Pierce is a weapon out of the backfield too due to his dependable hands and burst up the field. The Pebblebrook standout rushed for just under 500 yards as a sophomore last year with three touchdowns, hitting the 100-yard mark twice. Look for him to put up even bigger numbers this upcoming season.

A tough, physical back to know in Middle Georgia, Oliver is a bowling ball of running back who can lower his shoulder and pick up big yards after first contact. He runs behind his pads and does a great job of picking up tough yards in short-yardage situations. Just a sophomore last season, Oliver used his big 6-foot-0 215-pound frame to run for 435 yards and three touchdowns. With Perry needed a new leading rusher in 2026, look for Perry to lead the way and help carry the offense in the run game. He was an easy addition to the latest rankings update and has his best football still way ahead of him.

Another Middle Georgia back on the rise who showed he's one of the toughest backs to tackle across the Warner Robins area, Alexander showed a lot of promise last season as a sophomore, displaying his D1-caliber talent on any particular play. He can help catch passes out of the backfield and could push for All-Region honors this fall as a junior. Warner Robins is loaded with talent on offense and Alexander has a chance to shine out of the backfield throughout the 2026 season. Don't be surprised if Alexander continues to see his recruitment pick up over the next several months and into the winter with a big junior season.
