May Rankings Review: 2027 GA Names Set to Debut

He is versatile, but he will make his money on the interior with his manipulative strength. He has a strong anchor, making him tough to move. He was a productive, active player last fall for Alexander with the speed and athleticism to play off the ball and pursue, but the size to slide down and rush the passer, especially when you factor in his future weight. Shannon grades out with truly elite speed at his size, paired with a motor that runs hot. There is real speed to power potential. He is a true traits eval, coming in at a massive 6'4 235 with some giddy up in space. He will have something to prove this fall as more eyes get on him. I think there's a chance he can be even more productive as a senior, which should yield to even more recruiting attention. He is a smaller, true YAC threat with the speed and explosiveness profile to generate a big play from any spot on the field. Not much to overthink here. He has developed well up to this point with a well-rounded skillset. He is best coming downhill to pursue the ball, and if he sticks at DB, that will be his curtain call from the second level. Still, he has the length and athleticism to match and carry routes.
