This is a good check-in for McQueen, whom I had previously ID’d and walked away bullishly from his tape. McQueen is a long, well-developed player who will project out as a big nickel or box safety, just any spot where he can come downhill and pursue the ball. McQueen is a similar player to Banks in the sense that he is a downhill pursuer with the size to support the run game, but I think he has a little more juice, so he can be trusted to play in space and carry routes if needed. McQueen is a clear FBS DB.

McQueen is one of the better players in the state when it comes to being explosive on his breaks. He is explosive with shooting downhill, along with the breaks he has on the ball. He finished the season with four interceptions and multiple tackles for a loss. He has solid size, and has found himself playing safety, cornerback on the outside, and the slot heavily. He is flexible and is one of the better prospects in the state.
