A shifty, versatile weapon still flying under the radar, Cousey is one of the region’s top returning players on offense and one of the biggest playmakers in the North Fulton area. The Roswell, Georgia native was a consistent pass-catcher last fall as a junior, catching 53 passes for 755 yards and five touchdowns. He also carried the ball 37 times for just under 400 yards and four touchdowns, averaging over 10 yards per carry. He’s an easy D1-caliber wideout who should have a fantastic final season for the Hornets in 2026.
Cousey broke out last fall and has thrown himself onto the D1 radar. I think there’s a chance he can be even more productive as a senior, which should yield to even more recruiting attention. He is a smaller, true YAC threat with the speed and explosiveness profile to generate a big play from any spot on the field. Not much to overthink here. He can move, create explosive plays, and should get a crack at the D1 level as a result.
Cousey popped on my radar last spring, when coaches raved about his speed and explosiveness. Then, he was creeping onto the radar, now, he has several D1 offers under his belt, with more likely on the way. At 5’9, Cousey plays exactly the way he needs to play at his size. He is explosive, quickly taking the yards available and setting himself up with opportunities to take off. He is a big play threat from any spot on the field, and D1 coaches are always looking for players like that in YAC settings.
I saw Cousey this past spring, and coaches raved about his upside. They were right, as Cousey went on to be one of the most productive 2027 receivers in the state last fall. He is a shorter, stout, low center of gravity athlete, and he moves that way. He is explosive and quick to his top speed. Cousey is a big play threat from any spot on the field and is worthy of at least small school attention.
Cousey is Mr. Do It All for Roswell. He plays special teams, defense, running back, and wide receiver. He is arguably one of the better players when it comes to a complete phases player in the state. Cousey is what many coaches admire, as he is one of the quicker players in the state. Cousey is someone who has a bright future, and he will only get better when it comes to his career, as he has yet another season ahead of him.
