He threw the ball better on Sunday than he did at the Elite 11 Regional earlier this offseason in my opinion. He was playing on his home field and looked comfortable with all the individual drills. Multiple scouts from out of state asked me who Powell was and he was drawing a lot of positive attention. The ball jumps out of his hand and he has good sense of when to put heat on the ball and when to put air under it.
