Towns has such a smooth delivery and has very clean mechanics. He had great touch on the deep balls and good timing with the receivers during the one-on-one period.

Outstanding physical skillset blending his size (6’2” 215 lbs.), athleticism, and natural arm talent. He generates easy velocity with high caliber arm strength capable of driving the ball to the boundary, across the middle, or push it vertically. His natural ability and instincts allows him to make throws from multiple platforms and he shows the ability to improvise/create when protection breaks down to extend the play and open up second chance throwing lanes. Arm talent allows him to make all throws with confidence. Was a freshman standout at Oaks Christian before transferring to Rancho Cucamonga midway through his sophomore season. Carries 19 offers to date.

Towns is already a national recruit and has been having a very nice off-season so far. He checks in as the top signal caller in the class across California and should be a 30+ offer kid by the time it’s all said and done. He holds offers from Arizona State, Arizona, Indiana and Florida among others. Towns has a very strong arm downfield and tight throwing mechanics with a quick release and is a quick processor. Heading into the Fall he will be one of the top passers across the state and should have a breakout season for Oaks Christian.

The ball jumps out of Towns’ hand and he can fire the ball in there effortlessly. His ball placement on the corner endzone drill was outstanding and he looked good in the one-on-one period.

There was a solid group of class of 2028 players competing and Towns stood out in a talented field. It was my first time seeing him since a passing tournament last summer and he throws a better ball now. He can sling it without much effort and has a big frame.

Towns checks into our 2028 rankings as the top signal caller in California and inside the top 5 overall. He holds offers from ASU, Arkansas, Kentucky, Oregon State, Texas Tech, Washington, Virginia tech and Toledo and is well on his way to being a national recruit through his prep career. Towns has a long and extremely strong frame and is tough to take down in the pocket doing a good job at feeling pressure, keeping his eyes downfield and delivering on time throws outside the pocket. He has plus arm strength with spin on the ball, accurate placement over the top and throws his receivers open consistently. No doubt passing the eye test heading into his Sophomore year, he is one of the more physically imposing quarterbacks in the country and should have a truly breakout second year campaign for the Lions.

Towns lands the top QB spot and #4 overall in the debut 2028 state rankings. As a freshman, he checks a lot of boxes that major D1 programs look for in a future QB. Has the physical frame at 6’3” 205 lbs. that blends well with the high caliber arm strength, accuracy, and ability to create. Smooth release with added length to boost extension gives him a live arm capable of throwing with velocity off platform, downfield, or to the boundary. Strong frame, he can absorb contact and escape pressure while maintaining accuracy. Like his ability to stand in the pocket with an oncoming rush and deliver. Plus pocket mobility, he feels pressure and can avoid to create a throwing lane while keeping his eyes downfield for a target. Great ability to anticipate his throws with timing and hit his receivers as they come out of the break. Elite prospect that has collected eight offers.

Towns has filled in nicely as a freshman quarterback for Oaks Christian with 133 yards per game and five touchdowns.
He is very fast for his size and can drive the ball down the field. His footwork gets a little messy when he’s under pressure but more reps will solve that and he has the athleticism to recover when being pressured.

If I told you I had a 6’3 215 senior quarterback with a lot of potential, you would be all ears. Now what if the kid was actually only in 8th grade? Well Treyvone’s size is intimidating, but when he suits up it’s that much more scarier. Let me help you some more. Think Big Ben mixed with Byron Leftwich. Both of these bigger quarterbacks embodied leadership and knew how to win. I see this prospect following the same trajectory. Arm strength is there. As Treyvone continues to develop and hone his skills, I believe he will have a lot of coaches at the next level inquiring about his services.
