Rancho Cucamonga class of 2026 cornerback RJ Sermons RJ Sermons 6'1" | 185 lbs | DB Rancho Cucamonga | 2026 CA announced his commitment to USC on December 13.
Sermons had 34 tackles, a sack and a blocked punt this season in six games.
Alabama, Georgia, Oregon and Washington were also in his list of top five schools. He is a track guy who runs under a 10.5 in the 100 meters and is a versatile corner who can line up all over the field.
His father Rodney was a running back at USC in the mid 1990s. Sermons is the fifth player from California in USC’s 2026 recruiting class and the third defensive back.

Rancho Cucamonga star class of 2026 defensive back RJ Sermons RJ Sermons 6'1" | 185 lbs | DB Rancho Cucamonga | 2026 CA was offered by Nebraska and Oklahoma over the past week.
Sermons had 46 tackles, an interception, five pass deflections, a fumble recovery and forced fumble as a sophomore for Rancho Cucamonga last season.
He is coming off a strong performance at the Battle at the Beach passing tournament.
Sermons is now up to 25 offers.
