We will be unrolling a Class of 2027 rankings update in the Hoosier State starting this week.

While Lawrence North wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='631962' first='Monshun' last='Sales'], Franklin Central edge [player_tooltip player_id='1551356' first='Jayce' last='Brewer'], and Noblesville OT [player_tooltip player_id='1708630' first='Caleb' last='Johnson'] retain their No. 1-3 positions, we've made a big shuffle in the top 10, with Northrop edge Ifeyani Emedobi and Warren Central defensive back [player_tooltip player_id='1691879' first='Kaleb' last='Elkins'] making their top-five debut. Indiana commit [player_tooltip player_id='2071369' first='Jeremiah' last='Jones'] is our biggest riser, sliding in at No. 6, with New Palestine outside linebacker/tight end [player_tooltip player_id='1180305' first='Mason' last='Oglesby'] staying at No. 7 and [player_tooltip player_id='2071459' first='Chris' last='Wilson'] surging up to No. 8.

Here's a brief explanation for the changes:

At the time of this writing, other sites do not have Ifeyanyi Emedobi ranked yet, but we feel more than comfortable with making him a top-five prospect in the state and Indiana's No. 2 edge rusher, leapfrogging him from the No. 16 to No. 4 spot. Emedobi has simply been the fastest-rising recruit this spring and one of the fastest-rising recruits I've seen in a long time; with his size, arm length, use-of-hands and athletic ability, college coaches have rightly taken note of his talents and we have too.

[player_tooltip player_id='1691879' first='Kaleb' last='Elkins'] bumps up two spots to No. 5 by virtue of his ball skills, athletic ability, size, arm length and production. Elkins is simply a complete defensive back. With top-shelf ball skills, quick read-and-reaction time and outstanding instincts as a run defender, Elkins is a proven commodity from his spot at defensive back with outstanding potential on a college team.

[player_tooltip player_id='1180305' first='Mason' last='Oglesby'] is too good to be outside of our top 10 as arguably the highest-impact prospect in the state. The 6-foot-4, 225-pound prospect could even be the best the state has to offer. Oglesby's ball skills at tight end, and his pass rush abilities and strengths against the run on defense, and with one more year of high school left to go, there's nothing stopping him from reaching the top.

[player_tooltip player_id='2071369' first='Jeremiah' last='Jones'] is our biggest riser in the rankings, shooting up to No. 6 and within striking distance of the top three. The 6-foot-6, 271-pound offensive tackle has an outstanding size-speed combination. Jones fires forward at the second level, drives his feet on contact and flashes tremendous physicality in the run game. He can effectively mirror opposing OTs in pass pro. Moreover, his 6-foot-6, 271-pound frame is lean, providing plenty of room for the Indiana commit to grow in the Curt Cignetti-led Hoosiers weight program.

Yorktown edge [player_tooltip player_id='2071459' first='Chris' last='Wilson'] has tape that really pops. The 6-foot-6, 235-pound edge rusher also received a significant boost in the rankings, leapfrogging to No. 8. Wilson has an elite size-speed combination, able to overwhelm opposing OTs with his frame and athleticism alone. He is a blue-chip edge with a tremendous ceiling at the college level.
