Prep Redzone Illinois was at Collinsville High School for the Illinois High School Spring Showcase featuring prospects from the metro east and southern Illinois. It was a great event with a ton of college level prospects putting their skills on display in front of college coaches. Here is a look at the Top Quarterbacks at the event!

[player_tooltip player_id='1683690' first='Archie' last='Goewey'] (Centralia – 2028)

The Orphans quarterback was the top signal caller at the event. The 6'2” 200 pound quarterback has nice size and plus athleticism. What we like about him is how refined he is as a passer at a young age. Refined mechanics, smooth footwork, and an easy release coming out of his hands. Does a nice job of putting different levels of touch and velocity on a variety of throws. Can also let it rip downfield when he needs to. Calm, cool, and collected. Future P4 quarterback in our eyes and one of the best in 2028!

[player_tooltip player_id='1263174' first='Jax' last='Ohren'] (Highland – 2028)

The Highland 6'1” 210 pound quarterback had a nice evening. Thick bodied signal caller that has legit size along with change of direction. Let's the ball rip on intermediate routes and it comes out of his hands easily. Throws a catchable ball and is capable of displaying both touch and arm strength pushing it downfield.

[player_tooltip player_id='403899' first='Brody' last='Hasquin'] (Triad – 2027)

Thick bodied 6'2” 215 pound quarterback that has been on our radar for a while. Powerful arm on short and intermediate throws. Leads the receiver to the ball. Good athlete that has strong pocket presence.

Dariontez Monroe (Sparta – 2027)

Lefty 6'0” 170 pound signal caller is a prospect we are very high on as a hooper. This was my first time seeing him in person as a QB. The southpaw has quality arm strength downfield and velocity on short and intermediate routes. Ball comes out of his hand with ease. The accuracy was inconsistent throughout the night.

Brody Snyder (Olney – 2028)

Snyder goes 6'5” and 175 pounds. Excellent size and the long levered quarterback has the ball come out of his hands with ease. Accuracy was up and down throughout the camp, but the potential is definitely there.

[player_tooltip player_id='1727693' first='Gunner' last='Hoffman'] (O'Fallon – 2027)

The O'Fallon rising senior quarterback goes 5'11” 185 pounds. He was just rock solid throughout the event. Sound mechanically and placed the ball where he It needed to be to do the most damage.

[player_tooltip player_id='2163222' first='Kingston' last='Jones'] (Belleville East – 2027)

The 6'0” 190 pound physically built quarterback throws effectively in the intermediate. Needs to improve his touch throwing at different velocities as he only knows one speed which is the fastball.
