Hasquin was a back up QB for most of the year, but when we saw him in their preseason scrimmage it was obvious he was the best long term prospect.  Also plays linebacker and brings that mentality to the QB position.  Strong and stocky 6’2″ signal caller that is a physical runner that is good in RPO situations.  Like the arm strength on quick routes banging it in before the DB can make a play.  Good pocket presence and has a nice combination of arm strength and touch on the deep ball.

His dual-threat ability keeps defenses on edge, as he’s just as dangerous with his legs as he is with his arm. Hasquin isn’t afraid to lower his shoulder and fight for extra yards, making him a relentless competitor.

Brody Hasquin had his work cut out for him with some highly anticipated QBs walking in with noteworthy seasons. Mr. Hasquin locked in from start to finish showing his arm strength and accuracy during position groups. Mechanically and footwork wise there were no red flags. Once he linked up with the receivers it was evident that Brody knew how to spin the ball and put it where it mattered most. Throwing receivers open or dropping a nice touch pass deep all played into Hasquins earning a well deserved MVP honor.

Another 2027 Southern Illinois gunslinger cementing himself on the PRzIL rankings big board, Triad High School and Troy, Illinois native Brody Hasquin Brody Hasquin 6'2" | 220 lbs | QB Triad | 2027 State IL reported an FBS offer from Miami of Ohio in late May, right at the beginning of the Summer Camp SZN. Still working to confirm that offer 100%, but it’s safe to say that the 6’2, 200 lber. is multi-dimensional, talented, and athletic. A multi-sport standout who also excels in baseball and will also line up at OLB, Hasquin led Triad’s JV squad to a 6-2 record in 2023, throwing 14 TDs and rushing for 12 more, and on varsity he went 1-2 for 48 yards and a TD and also added 4 carries for 37 yards and a score. Not a lot of film available, so PRzIL is very interested to see some of Hasquin’s sophomore tape as it begins to matriculate. Should be a big year for the sophomore.
