Prep Redzone Illinois was at Collinsville High School for the Illinois High School Spring Showcase featuring prospects from the metro east and southern Illinois. It was a great event with a ton of college level prospects putting their skills on display in front of college coaches. Here is a look at the Top Offensive Lineman at the event!

Joe Paur (Edwardsville – 2028)

The 6'4” 275 pound offensive tackle has a great frame and broad shoulders. Was rocking a knee brace which limited his mobility a little. Played a little high at times, but there are definitely tools to work with here.

Parker Hudson (Edwardsville – 2028)

Hudson goes 6'3” and 250 pounds. Broad shoulders with good length. Strong in the lower half and is fluid in the hips. Easy athlete. Projects best as a guard at the next level.

Matt Lillenkamp (Edwardsville – 2028)

At 6'5” 290 pounds Lillenkamp jumps off the field with his athleticism, movement skills, and footwork. Kid really competes. Upside here!

BJ Green (Belleville East – 2027)

The Lancers 6'4” 320 pound offensive tackle looks the part with good length and a powerful lower half. Anchors well vs the bull rush.

Nick Riess (Mascoutah – 2027)

This 6'4” 255 pound offensive tackle is cut and will need to add strength, but he has the frame to do so. Strong in the lower half and is a solid athlete. Really like the length, athleticism, and footwork here.

Daniel Schulte (Mascoutah – 2028)

The size is a concern at only 5'8” 215 pounds, but this kid really gets after it as an interior offensive lineman at guard or center. Scrappy kid that wins the leverage battle, mirrors well, and has quality hand placement.

George Smith (Collinsville – 2028)

Little bit undersized at 5'11” height wise, but has a strong base at 292 pounds. The center anchors at the point of attack with being able to hold off power rushers and use his hands well.

Tyler Compton (Triad – 2028)

This center from Triad had a strong showing in one on ones. He goes 6'0” and 290 pounds. Mirrors well and anchors at the pivot vs power rushers. Sound footwork and good technically.

Bryson Short (O'Fallon – 2027)

At 5'8” 250 pounds definitely smaller, but he has a thick frame. Athletic tools to work with here as he is light on his feet, mirrors, anchors vs power, and has excellent use of his hands.

Matt Potthast (Triad – 2027)

At 6'3” and 230 pounds this Triad offensive lineman has a ton of physical and athletic traits you have to like. Fluid and easy movement skills. Will need to continue to add strength, but has the frame to do so.

Deiontay Thomas (Belleville West – 2027)

At 6'2” 295 pounds Thomas is someone to track as an athletic interior offensive lineman. Easy fluidity, good strength, and change of direction vs pass rushers.
