Spring ball gets underway in Indiana next week, and for the better part of a month, Hoosier State high school teams will be hitting the field for the first time since the conclusion of last year. We'll be on the road, checking out so many of the state's top players in-person, some for the first time.

For the next couple of days, I'll break down some players I'm looking forward to seeing the most.

Zionsville is looking to have a great season and it will start with Schott, the 6-foot-4, 210-pound tight end. While I have seen Schott at school, I haven't seen him actually play on the field yet. College teams have taken notice of his talents, and he could well be the state's top Class of 2028 prospect with his elite skills as a receiver: strong hands, great route-running ability and adjustment to the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='1881519' first='Austin' last='Phillips'] has the potential to be the top Class of 2029 prospect in the state, and he is a high priority for me this fall. Making the trip to East Noble in the middle of all the prospects I plan to see could be a challenge but it's one I'm planning to make. Phillips is already making a high impact on his high school team. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound prospect is an outstanding open-field tackler, possesses great range; on offense he is a legit home-run threat as a tailback. He is a must-see prospect and it won't be long before his recruiting really takes off.

Seeing [player_tooltip player_id='1607851' first='Corderro' last='Bennett'] in-person around his team is another trip I plan to make. Bennett could be the best prospect in the Class of 2028, a [player_tooltip player_id='631962' first='Monshun' last='Sales'] 2.0 with elite route-running skills and a tremendous size-speed combination. The 6-foot-5, 190 pound wide receiver has the raw tools and physical upside to be a big-time player at the next level..

[player_tooltip player_id='2164491' first='Caiden' last='Snow'] is blowing up. The 6-foot-4, 215-pound tight end/defensive end for Westfield recently picked up offers from Baylor and Ohio State. Snow has the chance to be a really great prospect at the next level with his size, speed and athletic ability. The 6-foot-4, 219-pound prospect had a great state championship game and I'm looking forward to seeing how much he has improved and grown over the winter.
