At 6-foot-2, 200 pounds, Phillips has a prototypical frame with plenty of room to grow and get bigger, faster and stronger in the gym. He has outstanding size, speed and athleticism. Phillips has the chance to be an elite prospect in his class nationwide, with outstanding instincts, very good closing speed and great pursuit to the ball. Phillips is a very good open-field tackler and strong run defender, taking great angles to ballcarriers. Freshman film pops. As a running back he is a very good between-the-tackles runner with strong vision and top-end juice.

Phillips is a talented 2 way player who is doing quite a bit for East Noble right away. He’s been heavily involved on offense as well as the defensive side. Offensively, he’s a powerful back who is hard to bring down. He’s averaging over 8.8 yards per carry with 70 carries. He has 615 yards and 7 TDs. He then has 53 tackles, 10 TFLs, 3 sacks, and 3 forced fumbles defensively. He sees the entire field and has the physicality you’d hope he’d have to match, and he looks good.

Phillips is a versatile player for East Noble, who has come out and been a two-way player right away. He’s strong and has a good frame. He’s carried the ball 29 times for 247 yards and 2 TDs. He’s also added 24 tackles and 2 TFLs defensively. He’s young, but the potential is there.
