[player_tooltip player_id='1040324' first='Owen' last='Herrick'] is the top-ranked quarterback in the 2028 class for a reason: he is that talented a quarterback. Starting for PCC last season as a Sophomore, Herrick was outstanding as a quarterback. He has excellent mechanics and footwork when he throws the ball. He also showed a higher level of skill in terms of reading defenses. He throws an accurate ball, and it is usually on time. Herrick recently visited Nebraska. He looks like a high-level Division One prospect. I am excited to see him play next season as well. He has a bright future ahead of him.

[player_tooltip player_id='1265746' first='James' last='Armstrong'] is a legit quarterback in the 2028 class who should challenge [player_tooltip player_id='1040324' first='Owen' last='Herrick'] as the best quarterback in the State. He has great size (6'3") and athleticism. He was outstanding last season for Hopewell. His ability to make plays with his legs and his arm is impressive. He is a true dual-threat quarterback. Even though he is a great athlete, he also has good quarterback skills. He has a big arm, and he throws an accurate ball. Armstrong recruitment has heated up, and he currently has 10 Division One offers. I expect more offers to come his way; he is that talented a player.

[player_tooltip player_id='1260044' first='Devontae' last='Smith'] is a machine in the pocket as a quarterback.k. His ability to sit back, read defenses, and deliver an accurate ball is impressive. His mechanics and footwork in the pocket are impeccable. He then throws an accurate ball. He also has good size (6'1"), and this allows him to scan the field and make plays. Smith also has a strong arm. You really see it when he throws deep balls. He constantly throws the ball perfectly to his receivers. Smith has a bright future ahead of him. He has the skills to play at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='2135165' first='Eric' last='Swan'] is a good athlete who played all over the field this past football season at Brashear High School. At every position, he showed good athleticism and speed. He is a legit athlete in the 2028 class. On offense, he played as a wide receiver and a quarterback. As a quarterback, he shows solid mechanics and a good arm. His accuracy is off at times; he can miss receivers, but this is an area he can improve. He does a good job running on designed runs or when the play breaks down. Either way, he is able to run for big gains. Then, as a wide receiver, he shows a good ability to separate from defenders and make big plays. He has good hands and catches the ball well. Then, as a safety, he is good at reading and making plays all over the field. Either as a quarterback or as a wide receiver, Swan is a dynamic athlete.

[player_tooltip player_id='1647881' first='Dai'Mere' last='Adair'] is a difference-making quarterback who should be moved up our rankings. In the pocket, he shows an excellent arm. He has a cannon. His ability to hit receivers in tight windows is impressive. His mechanics and footwork are also impressive. The other part of his game that I like in the pocket is how he is not afraid to throw deep balls into tight coverage. Then, when the play breaks down, he is the ultimate gunslinger. He is special at keeping the play alive and then looking for receivers to get open when he does the scramble drill. Adair is a special player inside and outside the pocket.
