<p class="text-gray-700">Fields has had a very busy spring after a successful Junior season which saw Carson in a CIF regional bowl game against a tough Kennedy-Delano squad. He is a true dual-threat passer with elite athleticism out of the pocket, track speed int he open field and is tough to take down in open space while very comfortable throwing the ball with defenders in his face. In the pocket, he can throw at all three levels accurately, gets the ball out on time and can throw across his body without losing zip. He is another dual-threat guy with elite athletic abilities in and out of the pocket and can break away in the open field and is seemingly comfortable with the ball in his hands. Throwing, he gets the ball out quick with a snappy release, shows he can evade pressure and throw across his body from awkward arm angles and is a high IQ passer that can make all the throws inside or outside the hashes. He has a massive frame, strong build and can fit the ball into tight windows while throwing receivers open and buying time in the pocket. He shows he can escape and run effectively on designed runs with open field speed, some wiggle in space and has contact balance and looks for contact, which is rare for a quarterback. He has a big time arm downfield with vertical accuracy and puts nice touch and spin on the ball, throwing his receivers open.
