2029 Watch List: Four Prospects Bound to Shine in 2026

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Younger prospects are the name of the game, and over the next few months we will be spotlighting Class of 2029 recruits in Indiana who will blossom and, potentially, make a huge impact as rising sophomores as the fall season rolls around. The Hoosier State has had back-to-back strong recruiting classes in 2027 and 2028, and the next generation will have big shoes to fill. Sloan comes off the LOS with a great first step and low pad level. He takes great angles to the ball against the run and is a proven tackler. Kennett flashes a good arm to get the ball downfield, he reads and reacts to pressure well and can escape in the pocket well, flashing good instincts and on-field awareness. HIs recruiting will depend largely on how much he grows. Right now, the 5-foot-5 tailback flashes good juice, top-end speed and can be a problem in space, where he is very shifty and can make defenders miss. Winford is a better off-tackle runner, and the team tries to get him into space where he can be a legit home-run threat. He flashes good closing speed. Sibert has a lean, 6-foot-0, 175-pound frame with plenty of time to grow.
