Amyr Wilford Amyr Wilford 5'8" | 140 lbs | RB Evansville Reitz | 2029 IN has a chance to be really good. HIs recruiting will depend largely on how much he grows. Right now, the 5-foot-5 tailback flashes good juice, top-end speed and can be a problem in space, where he is very shifty and can make defenders miss. Winford is a better off-tackle runner, and the team tries to get him into space where he can be a legit home-run threat. Has great vision and cutback.

Wilford’s second-half season breakout has continued, and he ended Friday with another big game where he took over. This game marks 3 straight over 100 yards, and 7 of his last 8 have been over 100 yards on the ground. He’s quick, has such good vision, and is so explosive that defenses tend to take bad angles. His 182 yards and 2 TDs on the ground Friday not only led the game, but were just enough to help Reitz get the win over EC.

Wilford is a freshman who looks the part and was arguably the best player on the field on Friday. He’s got good vision to find the creases and the speed to shoot through them. He lets blocks set up and isn’t too aggressive. I liked his ability to create when nothing is there. He finished the night with a game-high 164 yards and 3 TDs as Reitz got the win.
