Top-Ranked Rushers: Indiana’s Productive Underclassmen Tailbacks

Crandall, a high academic prospect, has already eclipsed his 872-yard rushing season from a year ago with 1,118 yards on the ground and 15 touchdowns. Wilford is slippery, hard to bring down and flashes explosiveness and burst through the hole. Very good vision and cutback. Wheeler is one of the most productive runners in the state, posting 1,118 yard rushing and 15 touchdowns through the season's first six weeks. The 6-foot-1, 196-pound prospect has a very muscular frame, runs through contact effectively and can make first defenders miss. Durham has 981 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns through the first six weeks, easily eclipsing his 328-yard rushing sophomore season.
