The Prep Redzone New England Stock-Up Showcase took place on February 7, 2026, in Connecticut. The event featured many talented athletes. These athletes participated in athletic combine drills. They competed at an elevated skill level. Coaches and PRZ scouts present at the event worked together. They selected one MVP. They also chose four top performers for each position group once the event concluded. In this report, I will highlight the runningback players who received MVP and Top Performer recognition. I will detail the standout skills each player demonstrated during the competition.

Joseph was the most electric overall athlete at the event and a clear-cut MVP. What makes him special is that he lined up with the receivers during drills and still dominated that group — despite being a true running back. He posted a 4.48 40-yard dash, a 4.23 shuttle, and an 8'10” broad jump, numbers that alone make him an elite athletic prospect. His explosion, fluidity, and change of direction were on full display all day.

What separates Joseph is that his athletic testing only tells part of the story. He combines rare physical tools with natural running back instincts and skill. He transitions smoothly in space, catches the ball effortlessly, and moves with confidence. Coaches were blown away by his complete package. He's the type of athlete who can impact the game in multiple ways and immediately elevate an offense.

Cole was one of my personal favorite players at the combine. His 4.29 5-10-5 shuttle showed up consistently in drills, where his footwork was simply on another level. He was incredibly quick and controlled in tight spaces, and arguably the best running back during passing drills. His ability to separate, adjust, and secure the football stood out immediately.

When watching him move, it's hard not to see flashes of Christian McCaffrey in his game. He has that same fluidity, balance, and versatility in space. If he continues to add a little more size and strength, he projects as a premier spread offense weapon — a back who can motion out, run routes, and create mismatches. His ceiling in a modern offense is extremely high.

https://twitter.com/Colestpierre7/status/2019229478065443244?s=20

Logan brings an intriguing blend of size and quickness. He ran a 4.48 5-10-5, which is impressive considering his build, and consistently showed reaction speed that separated him from other bigger backs. He moves much quicker than his frame suggests and transitions efficiently between cuts without losing power.

What stands out most is his versatility. He has the ability to mix quickness with power, making him a true do-it-all back. He can run through contact but also has the short-area burst to make defenders miss. That combination makes him dangerous in both downhill schemes and zone-based offenses. He projects as a reliable every-down back who can handle multiple responsibilities.

https://twitter.com/LoganCurran2027/status/2021664104344432790?s=20

Jayon impressed with his advanced footwork and noticeable speed throughout drills. He was sharp, efficient, and deliberate with every rep. One detail that stood out immediately was his awareness — he consistently switched the ball to the sideline hand during drills, something very few running backs demonstrated. That shows high football IQ and attention to detail.

His discipline in fundamentals combined with his quick feet makes him a dependable and coachable prospect. He excelled in footwork drills and showed the ability to process quickly while maintaining control. Jayon is the type of player who wins coaches over because he does the little things right and plays the position with extreme fundamentals and reliability.

Jaylen stood out not just for his physical tools, but for his maturity and discipline. He has good size, strong footwork, and showed really sharp cuts up the field with noticeable explosiveness. He runs with intent and understands how to plant and get vertical quickly, which translated well throughout drills.

What truly separated him was his mindset. After making a mistake in a drill, he immediately dropped and did push-ups — something no other back did. That accountability and self-discipline speaks volumes about his character and leadership. He was arguably the most mature player evaluated, and when you combine that with his cutting ability and explosiveness, you get a running back coaches will trust early in his development.
