Cole is a dynamic athlete who shows exceptional quickness and balance, allowing him to operate efficiently in tight spaces and create separation as both a runner and receiver. His route running and natural hands stand out, making him a reliable and dangerous option in the passing game, especially when matched up against linebackers or safeties. He adjusts well to the football and maintains control through the catch.

In space, he becomes a playmaker with the versatility to line up in multiple roles and create mismatches across the field. His ability to transition from receiver to runner is smooth, and he shows creativity with the ball in his hands. His fluid movement and offensive skill set make him a strong fit in modern, spread-style systems.

Cole was one of my personal favorite players at the combine. His 4.29 5-10-5 shuttle showed up consistently in drills, where his footwork was simply on another level. He was incredibly quick and controlled in tight spaces, and arguably the best running back during passing drills. His ability to separate, adjust, and secure the football stood out immediately.

When watching him move, it’s hard not to see flashes of Christian McCaffrey in his game. He has that same fluidity, balance, and versatility in space. If he continues to add a little more size and strength, he projects as a premier spread offense weapon — a back who can motion out, run routes, and create mismatches. His ceiling in a modern offense is extremely high.
