As customary with my event coverage, I feverishly write as many notes as I can, as quickly as I can, in order to report on as many prospects as I can. In this feature from Prep Redzone New England's Stock Up Showcase, I share my positional notes for the group aforementioned in this article's title. More coverage on different groups will be forthcoming in the days to follow, so be sure to check back later!

I did not get as long as a look at the linemen as I would have liked, however the bit I did catch there was much to herald about... The elder statesman for today's coverage was [player_tooltip player_id='2117637' first='Eric' last='Vilafane']. A rising senior who weighed in at 176lbs, Vilafane seemed to know what his game is and what is not a part of his game. As such, he leveraged his solid 4.71 shuttle time, indicative of his ability to quickly change direction, to win matchups. The bit I saw of Vilafane, he was abusing offensive tackles by consistently taking, and winning, the inside path to the quarterback.

Next up is a pair of rising sophomores who, depending on how their bodies develop, could potentially be 'tweeners along the offensive line... At 6'1" 239lbs, [player_tooltip player_id='2121022' first='Caiden' last='Reese'] might have a better shot on playing off the edge, consistently, than the other prospect yet to be mentioned. Reese had a respectable 40-yard dash time of 5.12, adding to my rationale. I caught Reese getting caught leaning just a bit. As a result, the veteran prospect he was repping with snatched him down, winning that rep. As he enters the varsity ranks, he will get better at recognizing leverage and not be as vulnerable to such mores.

As Reese has a shot along the edge, Brody Minshell might end up making his bones between the B Gaps. Strong and stout, Minshell was listed at 5'9" 239lbs will likely to play like that was for years to come. As such, I want to see Minshell continue developing his rip, finishing them violently and with his elbow to the sky. Doing so, he will break holds and shed blocks more easily.
