I have both leadership helping my Dline play more efficiently, and teamwork if I have to take two blocks for my LB to make the tackle I’ll do it without a second thought.

Vilafane is an explosive edge defender with a quick first step that allows him to consistently get upfield and apply pressure early in reps. He shows strong body control when closing on ball carriers and does a good job shedding blocks while staying balanced, allowing him to finish plays effectively. His ability to accelerate and maintain control makes him disruptive in both the run and pass game.

His motor is a clear strength, as he relentlessly pursues the football and remains active throughout each play. He consistently works to stay involved and chase plays down from the backside, which adds to his overall impact. With his quickness and energy, Vilafane shows strong potential as a developing edge presence.
