As customary with my event coverage, I feverishly write as many notes as I can, as quickly as I can, in order to report on as many prospects as I can. In this feature from Prep Redzone Next's New Jersey Exposure Camp, I share my positional notes for the group aforementioned in this article's title. More coverage on different groups will be forthcoming in the days to follow, so be sure to check back later!

Although he signed up as a defensive back, I think [player_tooltip player_id='1561090' first='Amare' last='Roy'] might end up being an out-of-the-box linebacker. He showed some strong qualities, such as the ability to recover and understanding how to use his length to break up passes that indicate strong cover skills; yet, improved footwork will aid him in his prep career. Lastly, Roy was a prospect who took calculated risks and frequently undercut passes... One of the youngest prospects who showed up to compete was [player_tooltip player_id='2083718' first='Eli' last='McCrary']. Just a 6th grader who graduates in 2032, McCrary was very light on his feet - almost, dare I say, had some spring in his step. Additionally, McCrary showed unwavering balance all throughout his backpedal.

In one of the more impressive reps that I saw, eye discipline succeeded. Despite me thinking he had poor pad level earlier in the event, [player_tooltip player_id='2105662' first='Gabriel' last='Estrada']'s eyes made him right. Faced with a double-move, his eyes never wavered. This allowed Estrada to run stride-for-stride with his matchup, locking him down in the process, for a successful rep... For a younger player, I thought that [player_tooltip player_id='2102886' first='Amir' last='Morrison'] showed some advance technique and skills. For someone his age, I thought that the 2031 graduate used his hands extremely well in all phases of the route - jamming at the line, feeling his way through the receiver's stem, and also guiding him through their break.

For [player_tooltip player_id='1475644' first='Benjamin' last='Arce'], pad discipline must be a thing to focus on for him. I thought that Arce popped up a bit too much as he competed; however, something redeeming, that he did quite well actually, was use his length to play the ball both over the top and when trailing.
