As customary with my event coverage, I feverishly write as many notes as I can, as quickly as I can, in order to report on as many prospects as I can. In this feature from Prep Redzone Next's New Jersey Exposure Camp, I share my positional notes for the group aforementioned in this article's title. More coverage on different groups will be forthcoming in the days to follow, so be sure to check back later!

Part of what I think made [player_tooltip player_id='2093941' first='Carl' last='Lomax'] a top performer was how well he utilized his size. With his 8th grade season still to be played, this 2031 graduate did an outstanding job maximizing his strides to claim as much green grass ass possible, allowing himself to gain a step on his matchups. One area Lomax can focus on is sinking his hips more as he bends corners/looks to make tight cuts... Sometimes players changes positions, or sometimes the wrong bib number is recorded. Unsure which was the case, but I did get eyes on [player_tooltip player_id='2045545' first='Jace' last='Tejada']. My notes seem to indicate that Tejada took reps along the defensive line. One thing he should be mindful of when pass rushing is to pass rush with a plan. Know what move he will hit and know what counter he will work should his initial move be stumped.

During indy I had the opportunity to get my eyes on [player_tooltip player_id='1596869' first='Nico' last='Calandriello']. Calandriello seems like the type of prospect that can pat his head and rub his stomach at the same time. I watched him swap the ball with overhand and underhand grips flawlessly as he navigated what seemed like an obstacle course of cones. As he navigated those cones, Calandriello demonstrated outstanding body control and a smooth ability to move fluidly... [player_tooltip player_id='2043868' first='Asher' last='Siplin'] is a prospect that I would want to see on the defensive side of the ball. Based on how he moved, my gut instincts told me that Siplin might serve his team better as a linebacker.
