Learning he was a 2031 prospect made him impressive. He showcased a solid frame, and a good IQ. I liked his press off the line, and his ability to crash on the ball at the POA, can make him a deadly threat as a DB. Morrison will easily be a top name to watch in New Jersey moving forward.

Amir Morrison is a spectacular athlete in the 2031 class out of New Jersey and representing the 2031 class at the “RIZE” is a big deal because there happens to be majority of 2030 class players but it gives the 2031s there a chance to really put something out there and gain some early eyes with them having one more season left of middle school ball and I believe that Morrison will be one to shine at the “RIZE” come Saturday, June 27th in Jackson, New Jersey!

I liked his film from this past fall and then loved what I saw from him at our Prep Redzone Next New Jersey Middle School Camp in late January as an Edge. Without question, he’s one of the standouts 2031 kids in the state right now and he again displayed it — however, it was at Wide Receiver and Safety at this tournament. From the Wide Receiver position he had a number of impact plays, highlighted by a touchdown run and an end-around where he reversed field for a big gain. He’s the definition of an ATH and he should be a name to know in NJ for years to come.
