Lineman [player_tooltip player_id='2063005' first='Max' last='Hull'] is a budding small-town star with loads of untapped potential that could see him rise as a prospect in the upcoming seasons. Max recently attended our Stock Up showcase, where he immediately stood out with next-level size at 6'5" and 300 pounds. He posseses with heavy hands and knows how to use them with a powerful initial punch. Physical with a mean streak— Hull is always trying to finish his blocks in the dirt and will play through the whistle. Max's mobility was impressive for his size, proving quite nimble on his feet while still possessing the power in his base to move defenders off the ball at will. Hull could also receive some looks on the defensive side of the ball, where he tallied 25 tackles, two TFLs, and a sack. There will still be some raw aspects coming from the eight-man ranks, but overall, Max looks like a moldable prospect ready to take off!

Lincoln Southwest's [player_tooltip player_id='1232632' first='Thatcher' last='Shelton'] gave us several glimpses of his tremendous upside in his first season as the Silver Hawks starting QB. Thatcher is an excellent athlete who was able to make defenses pay with his arm and legs, totaling 1,095 passing yards, 161 rushing yards, nine passing touchdowns, and three rushing touchdowns in as a sophomore. What really stood out about Thatcher was his twitch and speed with a reported 4.48 40-yard dash, which really seemed to translate onto the field, where he was able to evade pass rushers, outrun pursuit angles, and break away from defenses. On top of being elusive, he also displays great balance through contact with a strong base and quick footwork. As a passer, Shelton has a strong arm that can zip throws into tight windows over the middle of the field and won't hesitate to pull the trigger when he sees the deep ball available. Great vision for the field, and he will only continue to improve his reads now that he has starting experience under his belt. Thatcher is a standout on the track with a reported 10.69 100m time and could use this T&F season as a springboard for his football recruitment. Buy stock now!

SCC in Columbus has quietly been producing some great college-level talent in recent years, and lineman [player_tooltip player_id='2088403' first='Grant' last='Borg'] looks like he's right in line to fit that bill. The sophomore lineman proved to be a mauler on both sides of the trenches with well over double-digit offensive pancake blocks and 25 total tackles on defense. He has solid size at 6'2" and 255 pounds and should be able to easily add more mass to his frame in the upcoming seasons. What stands out about Grant is that he attacks with a purpose, using a powerful, violent jab to stun his opponents and immediately drives to move defenders off the ball. He understands how to use his leverage well and does a good job keeping his pad level consistent when engaged. Grant spent time at tackle and guard, with his higher ceiling at guard, where he can be used to destroy defenders on pulling blocks and help open up inside run schemes with his ability to seal off LBs in the second level. Can't miss mauler!

Sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='2129147' first='Ben' last='Lesley'] looks ready to (presumably) take the reins of the Creighton Prep offense after a season in which they finished with a great record but searched for consistency at QB. There is a small sample size for Ben's sophomore season, but he did enough to grab our attention, completing 30 of 55 pass attempts (54%), 450 passing yards, and 5 passing touchdowns. Ben has the type of frame that college coaches will gravitate towards at 6'3" and 170 pounds. He does a good job surveying the field from the pocket and can make quick decisions with the ball after moving through his progressions. Lesley can also extend plays on his legs by spilling out of the pocket as he keeps his eyes downfield. Solid arm strength allows him to attack all levels of the field. Excited to see what a full season as a starter will look like for Ben!

I was very pleased to be in attendance for Ayden's big breakout game against Blair earlier this season, ending with his first career 150-yard game. Furstenau would go on to finish as the Dragons' leading rusher with 152 carries for 645 yards and four touchdowns. Furstenau is a hard-running back who can patiently chip away at defenses with punishing, physical runs. He plays with a low center of gravity and has a strong base, making him difficult to wrap up and bring down on initial contact. Ayden was also a valuable extension to the passing game, hauling in 32 receptions for 412 yards and four receiving touchdowns. With the Dragons losing some great players, it could be Ayden's time to shine as the workhorse for the offense.

Crete's [player_tooltip player_id='1590720' first='Haansh' last='Patel'] is a player who caught my attention at a receivers camp before his freshman season and seems to be on the rise after a solid sophomore campaign. He was a two-way starter at receiver and defensive back, but may have a higher ceiling on offense. Last season, Haansh recorded 24 receptions for 152 yards and two touchdowns while also tallying 25 tackles on defense. With standout junior Peyton Steuer on the outside, Patel is free to carve up the middle of the field with his route running from the slot. He matches up well against slot corners and slower LBs/safeties, where he is able to sharply change direction and effectively attack leverage to create separation at the top of his route. He also does a great job being a "hands" catcher, with strong hands to secure the ball and the concentration to follow it all the way through the catch process. Haansh is shifty enough to tack on additional yardage after the catch. Interesting prospect who is expected to take on a bigger role in 2026.
