About Ayden
Expert Analysis
Nate Wahl | Prep Redzone Scout
Ayden is another one that is light on the tape, but it’s hard to miss on the top-tier running back size he has at 5’10 195 pounds. Ayden shows what he can do in the pass game as one that is very elusive around the edges with great vision at his disposal. He’s also got the fluidity and seperation ablity you want to see at Ayden’s size. Ayden is one that I feel that the live eval would surely do some justice during camp season, as one that hopefully is in attendance at some Midwest camps this summer.

I was very pleased to be in attendance for Ayden’s big breakout game against Blair earlier this season, ending with his first career 150-yard game. Furstenau would go on to finish as the Dragons’ leading rusher with 152 carries for 645 yards and four touchdowns. Furstenau is a hard-running back who can patiently chip away at defenses with punishing, physical runs. He plays with a low center of gravity and has a strong base, making him difficult to wrap up and bring down on initial contact. Ayden was also a valuable extension to the passing game, hauling in 32 receptions for 412 yards and four receiving touchdowns. With the Dragons losing some great players, it could be Ayden’s time to shine as the workhorse for the offense.
