Gretna TE Henry Hildebrand Henry Hildebrand 6'4" | 205 lbs | TE/WR Gretna | 2027 State NE looks primed to have a big season as the Dragon’s top returning receiving target. He finished his junior season with 26 receptions, 364 yards, and two touchdowns. Henry’s recruitment is off to a great start with two D2 offers from Nebraska-Kearney and Washburn. He has also visited Northwest Missouri State and Augustana. Programs like South Dakota, Sioux Falls, Boston College, Minnesota State-Moorhead, Bemidji State, Wayne State, Fresno State, and North Dakota State have also been keeping tabs on the Gretna prospect.

Henry ended his junior campaign with 26 receptions for 364 yards and two touchdowns. Hildebrand is a reliable safety valve tight end who can use his size and lengthy catch radius to dominate over the middle of the field. At 6’4″ and 215 pounds, Henry is a tough matchup for smaller DBs in the slot, and he has underrated athleticism that helps him separate from slower LBs. He is strong at the catch point and can hold on to passes even when fighting through contact. Another aspect of Henry’s game that stood out was his ability to improvise and help a scrambling QB by finding and sinking into soft coverage zones. Henry’s versatility across offensive formations is also a plus, as he can be used in a traditional TE spot, as a flex TE lined up on a DB, or in an H-back role. Solid blocker with a mean streak.
