Five Alpharetta Stars Who Will Suceed With Coach Patrick Carlisle

Patrick Carlisle is on the move, as he is moving on from the Dalton Catamounts and is now on his way to coach the offensive side of the ball with his brother at Alpharetta High School in Alpharetta, Georgia. Here are five players I expect to do well when it comes to the offensive side of the football under their new signal caller.    Schletty is entering his final season of high school football, which is going to be the most important season of his career. He will have the state's OC, who helped coach the state's leading passer, [player_tooltip player_id='969646' first='Caine' last='Woods']. This will only help him along the way and will put him in a position to succeed. With that being said, they will still let the talented gunslinger use his legs, which is something he did very well this last season, as he finished with nearly 1,000 yards rushing as a quarterback. Coach Carlisle is going from one great passer to another.     Alpharetta has many great running backs, and Carlisle is one to use many guys in the backfield, but like many coaches, the talented offensive coordinator prefers to have a reliable No. 1, which will be Henderson this season, along with the next season. Henderson is going to be one of the better running backs in the state under this new authority, as the offensive coordinator had much success out of his running backs at Dalton, including [player_tooltip player_id='1987816' first='Nash' last='Smith'], who was one of the more underrated players on the team thanks to a great setup.     One of the more under-the-radar players in the class of 2028, as he is someone who has quickly made a name for himself with the Alpharetta program. He is expected to make a huge leap forward, especially considering that Carlisle is one who likes the ball to be in the air. Pipes will be one to monitor, as he is going to have the chance to dominate in the slot and on the outside, depending on the setup, although if he plays in the slot, he could fit the same role that [player_tooltip player_id='1142017' first='Isaac' last='Summey'] played under Carlisle.     Terry is going to be a key piece of the Carlisle-led offense, as the Alpharetta program will be using their tight ends much more in this system. Carlisle used [player_tooltip player_id='2120868' first='Ayden' last='Ashlock'] very well, and he is now being offered by college programs. I anticipate the same being the case with Terry, who is only getting better. This will be key for both himself and Carlisle, as they look to improve following their most recent season.     [player_tooltip player_id='2119572' first='Calvin' last='Landy'] is going to be the main piece on the offensive line for years to come. He is an excellent player, and he will only get better as time goes on. With a lot to prove, the talented prospect will be one whom Carlisle will be thankful to have. Some of the players Carlisle made look great in the system include John Douglas Carroll and Marshall Hammond. In this go-around, I believe Landy will be one who will improve under the leadership of his new offensive coordinator.
