One of the most productive 2028 running backs across North Georgia right now, Alvarez has been on a tear to start his junior season. He'll be an easy addition to the next rankings update after running wild through the first three games of the 2026 season. The speedy back runs bigger than his size and has been efficient with the way he runs and picks up yards after contact. Leading Lumpkin County to a 3-0 start to the season, Alvarez ran for 127 yards and one touchdown in week one before running through Pickens for 318 yards and three touchdowns. In total, Alvarez currently has 465 yards and four touchdowns.

A big, heavy back in Cobb County who runs well for someone his size, Carter is a powerful back with a muscular 6-foot-1 200-pound frame who is off to a strong start to his junior season. Sharing the load with several other backs for Sprayberry, Carter has made the most of each carry so far, taking off for 164 yards and one touchdown on just 15 carries. He's tough to bring down by one defender and should only see his carries grow over time. His biggest game came in week one where he carried the ball two times for 133 yards and one touchdown. He's a back on the rise to know in the Marietta area moving forward.

A shifty, slippery back on the rise in Lagrange who is one of the region's most productive backs to start the season, Davis will be an easy addition to the upcoming 2028 rankings this fall and should be one of the highest-ranked backs in West Georgia. The athletic 5-foot-11 180-pounds has shown the ability to take off for a big gain on any particular play. He's rushed for an eye-opening 517 yards and six touchdowns so far this season, averaging 8.1 yards per carry along the way. He rushed for 227 yards against Troup in week two and rushed for 130 yards and three touchdowns against Eagles Landing. He's running hard and showing the potential to play at the next level.

An Athens-area running back who will be added to the next update. McLendon has been one of the most productive backs in the region and is proving he has D1-caliber potential. The 5-foot-10 185-pounder from Winder, Georgia has rushed for a combined 393 yards and two touchdowns through his first three games.
