Earlier this week, we unveiled the first batch of rankings for the state's 2029 class with the Top 25. Throughout the next few days on Prep Redzone Oklahoma, we'll be breaking down each prospect in the rankings, along with a handful of players outside of the Top 25 to keep an eye on moving forward. In this breakdown, we're putting that spotlight on the prospects ranked from #11 overall to #15 overall. Keep it locked in to Prep Redzone Oklahoma for more 2029 prospect breakdowns, along with ranking updates for the 2028 and 2027 classes.

Westmoore offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='2124459' first='Tyler' last='Skinner'] is the second Jaguar OL to be featured in our initial rankings for the 2029 class. While his brother dominated the left side of the line, Tyler was doing his thing on the right side of the line of scrimmage at right tackle. We mentioned it when breaking down his brother's game, but Westmoore has a seriously strong foundation on the offensive line with the two of them at the two tackle positions. Tyler's game was very impressive to watch when it came to run blocking. He gets out of his stance and fires forward, knocking defenders off their spots. Skinner has really good size and athleticism for his age. Just like with his brother, we think the ceiling is obviously very high when you're talking about a 6'6 OL prospect that started against 6A-1 competition.

Jenks defensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='2124460' first='Guy' last='Jacobsen'] is the first of two younger brothers on this breakdown of recent Oklahoma stars. Jacobsen's older brother Cash signed with USC out of Jenks a year ago. When it came to Cash, we were early on seeing what he could be on the line of scrimmage. So when we found out there was another Jacobsen that had size and was terrorizing offensive linemen, even at the freshman level, we bought stock early again. Jacobsen already looks like he has the tools for being a breakout player on the Jenks defensive line very soon. And Jacobsen won't need to be rushed. The Trojans are going to be very experienced on that side of the ball and specifically on the defensive line. It will allow him to grow and learn organically and it's only a matter of time before that breakout moment happens.

Norman North's [player_tooltip player_id='1851082' first='Brody' last='James'] is the other younger brother of a former Oklahoma star on this breakdown. His older brother Mason has been one of the top 2026 prospects in the state for the majority of his high school career. And Brody has a chance to follow that path over the next three seasons. We have James listed right now as an edge defender and tight end and there's no doubt that his brother was a star on the offensive side of the ball. But after checking out Brody's film from his freshman season, we think that he could be a dude on the defensive side of the ball. He plays the game with a physicality at the edge or linebacker position that you don't see from freshmen very often. The athleticism is clearly there and he produced at a very impressive mark against a solid competition during his freshman year.

Choctaw athlete [player_tooltip player_id='2124464' first='Akoree' last='Walker'] is a 2029 prospect that we're watching very closely over the next nine months because all signs point to him being one of the breakout stars during the 2026 season. Walker saw limited varsity time for the Yellowjackets in 2025 but we believe that he will step into an elevated role because of who they lose to graduation. Walker's film is incredibly impressive to watch and the production (although it's not at the varsity level) is off the charts good. Walker is also a prospect that looks like he checks the size box based on the film but we're looking forward to seeing him in person this spring. Choctaw coaches have also been vocal this offseason that Walker could be the next guy up in this Choctaw pipeline. And in the last five years, the Yellowjackets have consistently produced playmakers.

Inola running back [player_tooltip player_id='1834732' first='Jayce' last='Kent'] made plenty of headlines during his freshman season as he helped lead the Longhorns to the 3A quarterfinals. That's where Inola's season came to an end but even facing a perennial power in Heritage Hall on the road didn't slow Kent down. Not many opponents were able to slow down the breakout star for the Longhorns during the 2025 season. Kent is going to be a running back to watch over the next three seasons as he's already proven he can produce at a high level, against solid competition on a week to week basis. Now, Kent is a running back that we're very excited to see in person at some point this year. When you look around him as well, Inola has quite a few young players so the Longhorns could be in the mix for a while in an absolutely loaded Class 3A.
