2029 Class Rankings: Quarterback room is strong

<p>We just unveiled our updated 2029 Virginia Class Rankings late last week with over 140 soon to be sophomore prospects ranked. Cole Lainge has a number of positional breakdown articles coming out all week. I wanted to touch on the quarterbacks for this class who are truly something special. 7 are ranked in our top 25 and an additional 11 more made the top 100. A breakdown on some of our standouts:</p>    <p class="text-gray-700">If you didnt notice Indian River has a star under center, [player_tooltip player_id='1290145' first='Lord' last='Malik Heru'] is coming off a freshmen campaign that saw him throw for over 1,800 yards and obtain several FBS offers. He is playing in a region that has a historic tradition producing top flight quarterbacks and he already has shown that he is the next big time star. Heru ranked 2nd overall in this class and was very close to taking the number 1 spot overall. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Woodgrove's budding star [player_tooltip player_id='1398086' first='Colton' last='Dabkowski'] bumped up to 7th overall and 2nd for his position group. His stock is soaring after his freshmen season and the way he turned heads at our showcase a couple weeks ago. Dabkowski was an all district performer last season and will undoubtedly come into 2026 with a lot of hype. </p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/carljfred/status/2018070803556839923?s=20 </div></figure>     <p class="text-gray-700">You are going to be hearing a lot more from [player_tooltip player_id='2120036' first='Aiden' last='Fulton'] the next few years trust me. Fulton saw a ton of varsity experience for St Michaels replacing an injured [player_tooltip player_id='1297904' first='Austin' last='Mawyer'] in three different outings. He throws a beautiful deep ball and stands tall in the pocket. He for sure will be the Warriors starter for years to come, this dude can sling it. In his lone start last year against Hayfield, Fulton threw for 356 yards and 6 touchdowns! </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Coming in 4th for the qb room was [player_tooltip player_id='1748568' first='Cole' last='Dunham'] that appears to be the future starter for Benedictine College. Dunham seems to be very accurate with the football and does not error often. He is deceptively fast too as he shows on tape time and time again his ability to escape the pocket. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1748570' first='Hunt' last='Lansing'] throws very well out of the pocket and on the run, playing for the Collegiate School. Getting significant playing time as his season progressed, Lansing had an eye popping 77 percent completion percentage. </p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/HuntLansing/status/1985050355088977927?s=20 </div></figure>     <p class="text-gray-700">Aiden's stock will rise back up when he sees more playing time for Episcopal next fall. When he did play he sure had his moments in particular in his outing against traditional power Woodberry Forrest. He is a lefty with a cannon and he will be dazzling 7v7s circuit this off-season to make you all remember. </p>
