Dabkowski thrives on the ability to throw on the run but also has tremendous pocket awareness. Going through his film it showcases his ability to make the first man miss and how he can maneuver in the pocket and still deliver a beautiful ball down the field. Colton is currently ranked #2 in his respected position but there is no doubt in my mind that he can’t become the #1 quarterback in his class. Dabkowski had an awesome freshman year, and I know he will have an even better sophomore year.

His stock is soaring after his freshmen season and the way he turned heads at our showcase a couple weeks ago. Dabkowski was an all district performer last season and will undoubtedly come into 2026 with a lot of hype.

Dabkowski is one of the top rated prospects not just for Virginia in the 2029 class with good reasons, he is also a baseball star for the Wolverines. He made all metro selections as a freshmen and was competing in a very talened room. We had prospects from classes 2026-2031 competing at the quarterback position and a few of them were already highly regarded. That just goes to show you how well Dakowski did on Saturday. This young man has a chance to lead Woodgrove to a District title next season.

Dabkowski certainly made a case for a rankings bump with his play during the 2025 season. The dual-threat quarterback completed 168-of-252 passes for 2,467 yards, 26 touchdowns and six interceptions. He also carried the football s for 663 yards and nine touchdowns. Dabkowski threw for 250-plus yards in five games (three of those for over 300-plus yards). He’s not the biggest prospect at the moment, but his production speaks for itself.
