William Young William Young 6'6" | 315 lbs | OL/DL Woodgrove | 2028 State VA has finally been gaining some traction as a recruit, and for good reason. He has top-notch size and has been absolutely killing it at different camps this summer.

He’s shown off consistent footwork and hand placement, as well as a wide base throughout each snap in pass protection. He’s also an imposing force as a run-blocker, often times engulfing defenders and taking them out of the play.

Young was incredibly impressive at PRZVA’s Winter Showcase back in February as well, stealing the show in the 1-on-1 sessions throughout the event. He’s definitely a player to keep an eye on in 2026.

While he didn’t test William Young still earned a 2nd Team all camp selection for his impressive work during the 1vs1s. Young was too big too miss at 6’6 and 295 pounds, my colleague Pat Weider was impressed with the way he came in and competed. Shows a lot about his character too as he could of just showed up and turned around as he just arrived with the showcase starting. Instead he came in barely warmed up and showed why Woodgrove is very high on the big man’s future.
