After current rankings update one thing is very clear. Ohio's 2028 class is absolutely loaded with talent. Today we take a look at some of the top rankings risers from this update. By their play, their traits, and their development these players were able to set themselves apart and move up our rankings. So, let's take a look at my evaluation on our ranking's risers.

Graham had a stellar sophomore season, his first as starting quarterback for the Wayne Warriors. Graham threw for over 2,600 yards with 20 touchdowns to eight interceptions. He also rushed for an additional 10 touchdowns with his legs. His top game came against the toughest team on their schedule as he threw for over 300 yards and four touchdowns to go with zero interceptions versus St Ed's. Kye has the athleticism to scramble and the arm talent to throw darts on the run. He has the arm talent and the confidence to make throws into tight windows. At 6 foot 2 and 190 pounds, physically he's already ahead of the curve. I'd be very surprised if Graham did not begin to garner big time power for attention if not offers this off season

Flagg had a wonderful sophomore season leading the Cardinals in receiving. He put together a solid year where he caught 32 balls for 616 yards and three touchdowns. Those numbers translate to a really strong 19.3 yards per catch average. Desean is a smooth route runner who does good job of using tempo and explosive acceleration to get defenders off balance and create space. His ability to accelerate quickly and make guys miss, make him a tough tackle in the open field. Flagg currently holds Mac offers from Bowling Green, Kent State, and Miami of Ohio.

Lyons is a really difficult player to account for on defense because of his versatility and ability to line up at many different positions and win. He can line up over the guard or over the tackle and win with power, quickness, or athleticism. Not just is he talented though, he has a motor that runs hot all the time. He was top 5 in the GCL South in both sacks (9) and TFL's (16). While Griffin wasn't asked to play in space much this year because of the talented senior linebackers. With Reeder, Clapper, and Reilly all graduating, I wouldn't be surprised if Lyons got moved outside next year and played in space a lot more. I'm excited to see how this summer goes for Lyons and how D1 college coaches view him positionally. One thing is for sure, regardless of position the talent is undeniable. Griffin currently has offers from Miami (OH) and Pitt.

Diming is a versatile and talented safety for Archbishop Hoban. When you watch his film, you see a player who is so comfortable in space especially in centerfield. He will be a guy who you can put in the single high and feel confident that he's going to take away the dep part of the field. The thing that I like most is that I also see him as a guy who can play in the box and who can line up in man and hold his own. Physically he shows ability to flip his hips with easy and does a great job of tracking the ball. Diming holds early offers from Kent State, Miami (OH), and Ohio. I expect him to continue to add to that list this offseason.

Johnson is a silky-smooth receiver from Berlin high school. You can tell by watching him run routes that he has a great understanding of leverage and how to find space in zone defenses. He does a great job of setting up defenders and not giving away himself away. In the open field he's a playmaker with the ball. He had numerous touchdowns where he turned shorter passes into touchdown plays. Tony holds offers from Marshall and Toledo.

You're not going to find many players who possess the combination of frame and athleticism as a sophomore that Remy has. At 6'5 230 pounds he already possesses a college ready frame at the quarterback position. As a quarterback Remy has the ability to win from the pocket or on the run. From the pocket he has the arm strength and touch to stress defenses vertically. He also has the ability to execute the RPO game. At this point Remy doesn't hold any offers, but with a strong camp season I think that could all change very quickly.
