About Kye
Expert Analysis
Jared Luginbill | Prep Redzone Scout
Graham had a stellar sophomore season, his first as starting quarterback for the Wayne Warriors. Graham threw for over 2,600 yards with 20 touchdowns to eight interceptions. He also rushed for an additional 10 touchdowns with his legs. His top game came against the toughest team on their schedule as he threw for over 300 yards and four touchdowns to go with zero interceptions versus St Ed’s. Kye has the athleticism to scramble and the arm talent to throw darts on the run. He has the arm talent and the confidence to make throws into tight windows. At 6 foot 2 and 190 pounds, physically he’s already ahead of the curve. I’d be very surprised if Graham did not begin to garner big time power for attention if not offers this off season

Graham was a player that I was looking forward to seeing going into the season. He got some chances to play as a freshman last year and flashed. Graham had a slow start in the first half, but in the second half you could see things slow down for him. He’s very comfortable making plays out of structure and has the arm strength to throw across his body and put it on a rope. As Graham gets more reps he’ll get more comfortable winning from the pocket. Graham finished the day completing 14 of 26 passes for 239 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Young quarterback with a lot of potential. Occasionally threw some ducks but flashed good and accurate throws with a nice, tight spiral. Flashed good accuracy and zip in the short/intermediate game. Develop deep-ball accuracy. Good mobility to elude rushers and buy time. Still growing.

With senior quarterback and Arkansas State commit Tyrell Lewis Tyrell Lewis 6'0" | 175 lbs | QB Wayne | 2025 State OH out of the picture, the opening is there for Graham to take. Graham got limited playtime in a few varsity games last season and made some impressive throws. He looks comfortable in the pocket and isn’t afraid to rip some aggressive balls. The southpaw can put balls in position to be only caught by his receivers and can work all areas of the field. He is mobile and can use his legs to evade rushers, but he does so to pass rather than run. Graham could become one of the better quarterback prospects in the 2028 class with proper development and sufficient playtime.
