His ability to read and react and then trigger upfield is excellent. He also shows good patience and never overpursues. Then he is a good tackler, especially in the open field. He is also good at playing in space and in the box. He also runs sideline-to-sideline chasing plays. I can see him playing well next year as a running back as well. He is a tough and rugged running back. He never goes down from one tackler, as he powers through them. He also has good speed, and once he gets into the open field, he is off to the races. Another aspect of his game that is good is his patience. He waits for the hole to open, and then he explodes through it. He played both quarterback and defensive back for Shady Side Academy. As a quarterback, he is a classic athlete playing the position. His ability to run and make defenders miss is excellent. He is equally as good on designed runs or when the play breaks down. He has a good arm as well, and I liked the touch that he put on the ball. He also does a good job of throwing on the run. Then, as a defensive back,k he shows good coverage skills. He also has a good ability to break on the ball and make plays. Defensive back could be his college home; he is that elite. His ability to hit the hole and explode through it is special. He knows exactly how to be patient and then hit the hole. He also does a nice job of always getting positive yards, even if the hole might not be the biggest. He is also a physical running back who is hard to tackle. The last thing he is good at is his speed. He has good breakaway speed. Once he gets into the open field, he is off to the races. He has excellent mechanics and footwork. He has a short and compact delivery of the football. Looking at his freshman film, the talent is there with him. He has the arm strength and the accuracy to be a good quarterback. Eventually, he should be able to get on the field and produce for Malvern Prep.
