is an excellent runningback for Imhotep Charter. His ability to hit the hole and explode through it is special. He knows exactly how to be patient and then hit the hole. He also does a nice job of always getting positive yards, even if the hole might not be the biggest. He is also a physical running back who is hard to tackle. The last thing he is good at is his speed. He has good breakaway speed. Once he gets into the open field, he is off to the races. McCorkle is a talented player who should be a stock riser and move up to the rankings list.

- 6’0, 170 pounds.
- Posted a first-three on Hudl in mid-September, about two minutes full of quality reps out of the sophomore back. First rep on tape was on I saw in person. McCorkle can run off tackle and hit outside running lanes damn near close to full speed. A back with pure break-away speed, enough to separate against elite DBs. A tough back who makes the most of his carries in a crowded backfield. Runs come almost exclusively out of gun formations, furthering the notion that McCorkle’s skill set best suits him for stretch-zone run sets that utilize his plant and acceleration abilities. He’s trending in the right direction. Excited to see more on Hudl.

Another former member of the Big 215 Extreme AYF team from 2023, McCorkle was the go-to Running Back. A taller, lean build for a RB at this level, he’s an exciting kid.

– Absolutely cemented himself as one of the top 2028 running backs in all of the Northeast with his performance at AYF Nationals. McCorkle has an “IT-FACTOR” to his game and it was fun to watch
– Passed the eye test right away in terms of his build, the way he moved and the no-nonsense attitude he carried himself with, during the games I watched
– Using straightforward speed, north/south running and quick strides, he gashed some of the top defenses (and 2028 prospects) in the country
