- Updated measurabels read 5’11, 190 pounds. Height and weight improvement. Will apparently have to change his position on our site to WR, as Malvern Prep is working to develop him away from the QB position. I loved a few of his available traits watching him throw at our 7v7 this past April, but fully understand the move, kid is athletic and can still be molded accordingly.
Hudl Check-In – Gibson is one I don’t want slipping through the cracks just because the tape isn’t available yet. There are freshman highlights avaialble, yet we are too far removed from that time to warrant a ranking. There’s nothing on his Hudl to warrant a ranking today, but the athletic profile is legitimate and his physical progression has caught my eye. He’ll be a priority check once new film starts showing up, regardless of position.

Deon Gibson Deon Gibson 5'10" | 180 lbs | QB PA demonstrated strong command of the offense throughout the weekend, showing poise beyond his years. He consistently delivered accurate throws at all three levels, while displaying good touch on deep balls. Gibson’s footwork and pocket presence allowed him to stay composed under pressure and extend plays when needed. He showed leadership qualities by communicating effectively and keeping his unit organized. With his size and skill set, Gibson has the tools to develop into a high-level quarterback prospect.

Deon Gibson Deon Gibson 5'10" | 180 lbs | QB PA has no film from last year, but I saw some off-season work he has been putting in, and I came away impressed with him. He has excellent mechanics and footwork. He has a short and compact delivery of the football. Looking at his freshman film, the talent is there with him. He has the arm strength and the accuracy to be a good quarterback. Eventually, he should be able to get on the field and produce for Malvern Prep. The talent is there for sure.
