On defense, he is a match-up nightmare for offenses. He played last season as a linebacker and as an edge defender. At both positions, he was all over the field making plays. As a linebacker, he shows a good ability to run sideline to sideline chasing plays. As an edge defender, he gets off the ball quickly as he makes plays in the offensive backfield. As a tight end, he is a good blocker. He is good at blocking edge defenders and driving them off the ball. He then does a good job of catching the ball when he runs routes. He has good hands. He played mostly as an edge defender last year. He has one of the fastest get-offs I have seen from a defender. Because he gets off the ball so quickly, he can be disruptive against offenses. He can use his strength to get around offensive linemen. He is equally as good against the run and the pass as he is disruptive against offenses. Then, on offense, he has limited film, but he shows a good ability to catch the ball. He is also able to run after he catches the ball at a high rate. As an edge defender, he does a good job of maintaining the edge. He shows a good motor that never stops, as he chases plays all over the field at a high level. Then, on offense, he showed a good ability to block as a tight end. He was moved to offensive tackle, where he made a big impact playing that position on the team. Either as a tight end or an offensive tackle, he should be able to maintain a high level of performance on offense. He has excellent speed, and his bend around the edge allows him to disrupt opposing offenses. I did not see any film as a tight end. He could be a good tight end because he is a good athlete who can move. I am excited to see his future next season. As a tight end, he shows a good ability to catch the ball. He is excellent at catching the ball and gaining yards after the catch. His ability to make plays in the passing game is what makes him a match-up problem. Then, as a defender, he is a good edge defender. He fires off the ball well and shows good strength to control offensive linemen. He maintains the edge well by using his hands.
