<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>In this 2027 rankings breakdown, we spotlight the offensive prospects who are flying under the radar but have proven production and demonstrate upside/potential as they develop.</strong></h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">After an impressive junior season at Salpointe rushing for 925 yards and 9 touchdowns, Chaney recently transferred to Basha to play out his senior year. 6'0” 215 lbs. he's got a strong/well-built frame with the skillset to be a quality recruit on either side of the ball at RB or LB. He's a hard downhill runner that attacks the LOS to get vertical immediately and runs through contact at the first level. Flashes decisive vision with the ability to identify running lanes quickly and commit without hesitation. Plus contact balance, he runs behind his pads and absorbs contact while maintaining forward momentum/leg drive. Shows he can make defenders miss in tight spaces and in the open field with quick lateral agility and sudden cuts. A dual sport prospect in football and baseball he's a natural athlete with good command and control of the offense at QB. Calm and composed in the pocket, he shows consistent footwork/mechanics that are repeatable and reliable under pressure. Demonstrates good awareness and feel for the position with his ability to anticipate open targets and deliver accurately even with defenders in his face. Plus arm strength, he's able to push the ball vertically with confidence from different throwing platforms while his hip and shoulder work in sync to generate effortless velocity. Not afraid to take chances to hit the explosive play but would like to see him clean up the turnover margin as a senior. Finished the 2025 season with 47 receptions for 850 yards and 15 touchdowns while averaging 18 yards per catch. On tape, his ball skills and natural hands stand out. He's confident in his hands catching the ball away from his body with good extension at the catch point. Shows strong grip strength with that ability to rip the ball out of the air to secure it through contact and traffic. Sets up his routes well to create positional leverage and establish a throwing lane giving him the opportunity to up and make a play. He's a savvy athlete that can find the soft spot in coverage, get open on broken plays, and pick up yardage after the catch. His background as an offensive lineman gave him the ability to be an effective blocker lining up across the formation to seal the edge, climb to the second level, or lead on the perimeter. He understands leverage in the run game and is able to generate vertical push at the POA. He locks on and sustains blocks with good foot movement and strong/controlled hands. Proved to be a reliable receiving threat at the short/intermediate levels. He's got a good feel for finding space and is able to win at the catch point with body positioning and strong hands. Skillset offers true three down value. One to watch.</p>      <p class="text-gray-700">Dickerson was a huge piece Scottsdale Christian's run to the 2A state title impacting the game on both sides of the ball at WR and DB. Finished the 2025 season with 1,537 all purpose yards, 15 touchdowns, 53 tackles, and 4 interceptions. He possesses a wide skillset with good instincts and natural playmaking ability. A ball hawk on both sides, he gets involved in the offense in a variety of ways attacking all three levels of the field as a receiver in addition to handling carries, end arounds, and fly sweeps. Plus game speed, he's quick to accelerate in the short area, possesses a sustained second gear, and has good reactionary quickness at both positions. Savvy with his athleticism, movement, and ball skills.
