2028 Stock Up: Prospects Climbing the Rankings

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Highlighting the 2028 prospects that are climbing the PRZ state rankings with high level production, impact, and film from their sophomore season.</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Impressive sophomore season for the first year starter leading Centennial to 6A State championship game throwing for 2,500 yards, 23 touchdowns, and just three interceptions. Good size to his frame at 6'3” 195 lbs. with the length to get added extension on his delivery that boosts his arm strength. He's calm and composed in the pocket with calculated movement to avoid the rush and create throwing lanes. Flashes smooth arm action with the ability to mix up velocity and arm angles based on the throw needed. Shows touch down field but can also drive a one ball into a window with an accelerated release. Efficient footwork throughout his drop back and as he reads coverage/goes through his progression. A smart decision maker with the football, he doesn't force it into coverage evident by his three interceptions on 327 attempts. Possesses a well-built 5'11” 190 lb. frame with great natural strength and athleticism. At RB, he's a downhill runner that creates explosive plays combining his speed and power. Tough to tackle, he's got good balance to shed contact and break tackles at all three levels. Like his timing of lateral moves and stiff arms to avoid tacklers. Shows a sustained second gear once in space that allows him to separate from defenders and finish long runs in the endzone. Good ball security through contact. Possesses a projectable frame with good length and build for the position continuing to add good weight now at 6'3” 200 lbs. He's a plus athlete with good reactionary quickness and game speed. He's able to smoothly change directions and redirect based on ball carrier's movement. Patient as he reads his keys and diagnoses the play but triggers quickly, showing he can plant and drive on the football to close space. Extremely active defender that plays fast and physical bringing heavy contact to every tackle using good leverage and pad level. Expect to see his recruiting take off this off season.</p>      <p class="text-gray-700">McNeal is a high upside player with ideal OT length at 6'7” 240 lbs. That lean frame gives him outstanding growth potential to add mass while maintaining the athleticism, bend, and movement skills that set him apart. Demonstrates natural strength and power at the POA to create movement in the run game while also being able to latch on and control defenders in pass protection. He's quick out of his stance and uses his foot speed to execute different blocks in space and at the second level. As a run blocker, he's able to establish positional leverage and generate movement at the contact point to open up lanes for the ball carrier. In pass protection, his athleticism allows him to mirror defenders lateral movement to stay in front and maintain a clean pocket from the edge. Recruitment kicked off with an offer from UNLV last spring but will see more come through as he develops.</p>      <p class="text-gray-700">Solid edge prospect at 6'3” 230 lbs. He's an attacking defender with a dynamic skillset to contain the edge as a run stopper or aggressively rush the passer. Applies immediate pressure to OT's with his initial quickness and explosiveness off the ball. His first step and short area burst allows him to run the arc around blockers and then use his bend to flatten at the top of the rush. Strength gives him the ability to create immediate knock back and penetration on the snap. Uses his hands well to lock out and maintain separation from blockers at the POA and then is able to disengage as he locates the ball. Finished the 2025 season with 57 total tackles, 14 tackles for loss, and 4.5 sacks. Initial college offer from Northern Arizona last summer.</p>
